Contact Translator with 2 Latching Relays

Model: CT-2
  • Plug-in provides DPDT latching relay for 2 adjacent steps
  • With two DPDT, low current, latching relays
  • Each relay toggles with the sequencer step it is connected to
  • Plugged into any adjacent pair of PDS-8 STEP header connectors except 3 and 4 (headers on steps 3 and 4 are too widely spaced to accept the CT-2)

The function of the CT-2 contact translator is a completion relay. The CT-2 has two DPDT, low current, latching relays. Each relay toggles with the sequencer step it is connected to. It may be plugged into any adjacent pair of PDS-8 STEP header connectors except 3 and 4 (headers on steps 3 and 4 are too widely spaced to accept the CT-2). One CT-2 board provides the completion relay function for two adjacent steps of the PDS-8. This function is useful for controlling inputs of other equipment. Multiple CT-2s may be used - even piggybacked. The latching relays in the CT-2 are sealed and have gold-plated, bifurcated contacts that are reliable in dry-contact applications. Maximum contact current is 1.0A at 30V, non-inductive. Each completion relay has one set of contacts available through the terminal strip and another set available through solder pads along the edge of the board.
