The NQ-GA40P3 is a 40W plenum-rated, Class D, integrated amplifier module designed to operate over a 10/100 Ethernet network. This new low-impedance amplifier module fills out the Nyquist GA amplifier module product line, extending the power range to 40W, thus allowing customers to increase single-zone coverage for paging and music distribution as part of a Nyquist installation, or as a SIP and/or multicast endpoint on 3rd party systems when in Standalone Operation mode.

A PoE++ capable network switch provides power for the unit, or alternatively, a PoE power injector, such as Bogen’s PI5660W PoEBT. When coupled with the NQ-GAXMR1 transformer, the NQ-GA40P3 will drive high-impedance 25V or 70V speaker networks, such as can be done with Bogen’s CSD2X2-V2 drop-in ceiling tile speaker which contains a convenient mounting plate for the amplifier and transformer.
