Comprehensive’s CDA-1218GAE is a HDMI 1x2 Splitter that distributes 1 HDMI source signal to 2 HDMI displays simultaneously which supports resolutions up to 4K2K at 50/60Hz (4:4:4) 18Gbps. The CDA-1218GAE is able to extract audio from the HDMI source to both optical and analog outputs simultaneously. This HDMI splitter offers two EDID modes (COPY/AUTO) and all output ports support signal bypass and video downscaling (4K to 1080p).

Digital and Analog Audio De-embedding

The CDA-1218GAE is readily equipped with an optical SPDIF and a 3.5mm audio output port for de-embedding analog audio from the HDMI output which makes it simpler to connect your audio amplifier or entertainment system.

4K to 1080p Video Down-Scaler

The CDA-1218GAE has the capabilities to independently down-scale the HDMI output from 4K resolution to 1080p, which makes it possible to transmit 4K resolutions to 1080p displays/ monitors without any issues.
